Harleys is the purveyor of men’s denim in the Shorewood and Milwaukee area, and while we don’t play favorites with our jeans, we do have a special place in our hearts for Citizens of Humanity.

As we noted in a recent post, the recent surge in demand for men's dress shirts has birthed an outpouring of dress shirts of varying qualities, which makes finding a good dress shirt harder than ever before. That is, unless you know where to look...and who to look for.

Today, a man can never have too many dress shirts. In fact, The Wall Street Journal published an article, “The Dress Shirt’s Big Moment,” and in it quoted shirt makers as saying the average number of shirts a man should have in his closet is 20.

Many men in Shorewood and Milwaukee shy away from made-to-measure suiting and clothing for three main reasons. The first is fear of price, second is fear of time, and the third (and probably most common) is not knowing what the heck made-to-measure is anyway.

Continuing our run on fine Italian menswear brands (see here for Luigi Bianchi and here for Magnanni shoes), today we want to blog about Corneliani (pronounced “kor-nell-yan-nee”), one of the world’s crème de la crème menswear brands.

Over the past five or so years, American men, including those in Shorewood and Milwaukee, have slowly been embracing a closer-fitting suit, much like the Italians have been doing since…well, forever, I suppose.
