Corneliani Available in Shorewood and Milwaukee

Continuing our run on fine Italian menswear brands (see here for Luigi Bianchi and here for Magnanni shoes), today we want to blog about Corneliani (pronounced “kor-nell-yan-nee”), one of the world’s crème de la crème menswear brands.

For more than 50 years, Corneliani has been making suits and sport coats for men that far surpass the quality of most other menswear lines worldwide. The company was founded in 1958, though its roots go as far back as 1930, when Alfredo Cornelian, set up a craft business making raincoats and coats, which was then put on hold due to the outbreak of World War II. Alfredo's sons, Claudio and Carlalberto, later set up Corneliani in Mantua, Italy in 1958. Today, the company distributes its clothing in over 70 countries through department stores, its own boutiques and specialty stores.
