Why You Should Shave in the Summer
I once knew a guy who spent a summer growing out a beard. It was a nice beard (thick, evenly distributed), but when it came time to be a groomsman in his friend's wedding later that same summer, the mother of the groom politely demanded that all the groomsmen be clean-shaven.
So, the guy reluctantly shaved his cherished, well-cultivated beard. Then, he went from somewhat sad to utterly horrified. All the days he spent on the beach that summer had tanned every inch of his face...except those below his beard line. He was a ghost from the cheekbones down.
I think self-tanner was involved in damage control, but I don't remember.
The moral of the story: don't be that guy.
Beards are great and all, and arguably useful for extra warmth in the winter, but gents, you gotta be a little more careful about your facial hair in the summer.
eShave, a brand of men's shaving products that we carry here at Harleys, has plenty of high-end shaving tools and products to help you take the best possible care of your face. They make rich shaving creams that cool and moisturize the skin, deluxe brushes that give you a nice, thick lather, razors as precise as diamond cutters, and after-shave products that will you leave you feeling like the most confident man in the world.
We swear.
The bottom line: your face is important, so you should treat it that way. The other bottom line: don't grow a super thick beard in the summer if you're supposed to be in a wedding at the end of that summer. The third bottom line: if you do grow a super-thick beard in the summer and need to shave it, Harleys has all the deluxe eShave products you need to do it right.
Of course, eShave products are excellent to have year round, too.
