The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to buy that perfect present for your perfect man (or nearly there anyway!) The problem is, you’re dating a fashionista who loves to get clothes. And you have no idea what to buy him. Here’s a guide so that when your guy unwraps that beautiful present this year, he’ll actually wear what’s inside!
Start by buying in your guy’s comfort zone, and there’s very little that you can do wrong. You probably already know what that zone is. After all, you see what he wears every day, and you know his preferences – don’t go outside of this! While you may see a great sweater in his color at Walmart, he won’t appreciate it if your man is into luxury mens clothing.
Along the same lines, buy your man a gift that he’ll like, not that you’ll like. You may be in the right place, and you may love that men’s soft lavender Hugo Boss sweater. But if your guy is very masculine and not really onto trends, you can be sure he’ll never wear it. Even if it is his favorite designer.
Lastly, tread into fashion denim for men very carefully. Unless you know his favorite brand, his waist and leg size, and all the designs he already owns, don’t do it. If your man is a real denim guy, get him a gift certificate so he can pick his own perfect pair.
Giving the gift of fashion can truly be giving the perfect gift. Just make sure you know your guy, and you know what he likes, so that you can be sure he’ll like the gift!
