How to Wear a Winter Scarf in Wisconsin
Well it’s that time of year again. The leaves have fallen off the trees, the temperature has dropped, and we’re all searching through our designer menswear trying to find a scarf that will keep us warm, and keep us looking good while doing it. But once you find that perfect mens fashion accessory, how do you wear it? Simply loop it around your neck? Tie it in a knot just in front of your neck? There are lots of ways to do it, and these are the ways we suggest how to wear a winter scarf.
\You can simply drape the scarf over your shoulders and behind the neck, letting it dangle loosely over your coat in the front. If you want to take that draped look a bit further, you can start by draping it over your shoulders, leaving one end longer than the other in front. Take that front end and loosely wrap it around your neck once, so that both ends are finished once again, hanging loosely in the front.
When the temperature really drops you might need something to close it so that it helps keep out all that bitterly cold air. The easiest way to do that is by tying a simple overhand knot at the front, ensuring that you’re leaving enough room at the neck so it’s not too tight. Not only will wearing it like that be uncomfortable, it also look out of place and may bunch your other clothes in that area.
While these are three different ways you can wear your scarf, there are dozens of different ways to do it out there. The one you ultimately end up choosing will depend on your own personal style, and how you’re most comfortable wearing it.
