It’s not uncommon for grooms to choose wedding ushers that live out of town. And this can sometimes cause confusion when it’s time to buy the designer menswear that the ushers will be wearing as they stand up at the altar. Should the groomsmen buy or rent the wedding tuxedos South Wisconsin? Or should the usher rent or buy them in the area where they live?
It’s always best for the groom to buy and rent all the tuxedos from the same place; preferably in the location where the wedding will be held so they can be picked up, delivered, or returned easily. Even if the tuxedos are being purchased and are made to measure, the groomsman can still send his measurements to the groom, and the groom can pass those on to the tailor. When taking the measurement, it’s best that the usher go to a professional tailor in order to get the most accurate results possible.
It’s likely that the individual chosen as a groomsman will be in town the day before the wedding, even if they do live far away. Try to arrange for a fitting with the tailor at least the day before so that adjustments can be made on the suit if needed.
